Terms of use

The short version: you may install and use Antilure, it comes as is, and it helps you judge an email without making the decision for you. The details are below.

Who we are

Antilure is made by legal entity name, registered address and company number. For anything on this page, write to contact address for these terms.

What these terms cover

These terms apply to the Antilure software: the agent and its installer, the Gmail extension for Chrome and Edge, the Outlook add-in, and the company console. They also cover this website. How Antilure handles data is described on the Privacy page.

What Antilure is, and what it isn't

  • A detection aid, not a guarantee. Antilure looks for signs of phishing and social engineering and tells you what it found. It can miss a harmful message, and it can flag a genuine one.
  • It never stops you from acting. Antilure warns and explains. You can still open, click, reply or pay; the decision stays yours.
  • It works alongside your other protections. Keep your mail provider's spam and malware filtering, and your company's security tools, switched on.

The known limits are listed on How it works.

Your licence to use the software

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Antilure on computers you own or are allowed to use. to confirm: licence scope per plan (number of devices or seats) once pricing is set

You may not:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, extract or modify the signed model bundle that ships with Antilure, or remove or get around its signature checks;
  • sell, rent or redistribute the software, or present a modified copy as Antilure;
  • use Antilure to break the law or to read mail you aren't allowed to read.

These limits apply except where the law gives you a right that a contract can't take away.

Antilure includes open-source components, each under its own licence, and those licences still apply to them. where the list of components and their licences is published

Updates

Model updates are signed by Antilure. The agent checks the signature before it loads a new model and keeps the model it has if the check fails. A company that runs a console decides which model version its computers use.

Provided as is

The installer, the extensions, the add-in and the console are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that Antilure will catch every harmful message, flag only harmful ones, or run without interruption.

to complete: limitation of liability, and the liability the law doesn't allow to be limited

Companies

A company that deploys Antilure for its people runs its own console on its own server and is responsible for it, for the policies it sets, and for the reports its people send to IT. to complete: business terms, or a link to the business agreement

Prices

Prices aren't set yet. When paid plans exist, their terms will be published here before they apply to you.

Stopping

You can stop using Antilure at any time by uninstalling it. to complete: when we may end or suspend a licence, and what happens then

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. to confirm: how much notice is given for changes that matter

Governing law

These terms are governed by governing law, and disputes go to courts with jurisdiction, without removing any protection the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
